P12 (Metrobus Habana)

Public bus from near Terminal 2 on Avenida Rancho Boyeros to central Havana, passing Plaza de la Revolución and terminating by the Capitolio in Old Havana; airport passengers from Terminal 3 must walk about 2 km or transfer between terminals. Foreigners may face difficulty paying as fares are in local CUP cash only and vehicles can be very crowded.

P16 (Metrobus Habana)

Local bus from the stop by Terminal 1/2 area on Avenida Rancho Boyeros toward central Havana, serving Plaza de la Revolución where travelers can connect onward to Old Havana; service is very cheap in CUP but not designed for airport users and can be unreliable or crowded.

Airport worker shuttle bus (Boyeros–Plaza de la Revolución)

Informal airport-operated bus used mainly by staff runs along Avenida Rancho Boyeros toward Plaza de la Revolución, stopping at the central bus terminal; not an official tourist service, payment is in CUP and schedules are not clearly published.

Viazul Havana Airport–Havana Viazul Station

Intercity Viazul buses on routes such as Havana–Santiago de Cuba stop at the airport and continue to the Viazul terminal on Avenida Independencia near Plaza de la Revolución; tickets must be bought in advance and times are limited, so this is only practical when departures coincide with your flight.

Official airport taxi (Taxi OK / Panataxi and others)

Meterless official taxis wait outside all terminals and provide direct 20–35 minute rides to Old Havana and the Capitolio area; fares are typically negotiated in foreign currency and cars are the primary practical option when buses are full, infrequent or hard to access.
