Premium rail line from Airport Station directly to Hong Kong Station in Central in about 24 minutes, with free MTR connections to other urban lines. Trains typically run from around 05:50 to after 01:00 with departures every 10–15 minutes; check MTR for exact timetable and first/last trains.

Tung Chung Line via Tsing Yi / Hong Kong Station (MTR)

From Airport, take the Airport Express or bus to Tsing Yi, then transfer to the Tung Chung Line to Hong Kong Station in Central; this is a common metro routing if you already hold an MTR ticket or Octopus. Tung Chung Line trains run every few minutes throughout the day, but this option is slower and involves at least one transfer compared with the direct Airport Express.

Express bus from Hong Kong International Airport Ground Transportation Centre to North Point Ferry Pier via Western Harbour Crossing, Sheung Wan, Central (Jardine House and City Hall), Admiralty, Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. Services operate roughly 06:10–00:30 from the airport with departures about every 20–25 minutes; useful for direct surface access to Central and nearby districts.

Urban Taxi (Red) – Airport to Central

Metered city taxis wait at official ranks outside the arrivals area and provide a direct 30–45 minute ride to Central depending on traffic. Available 24/7 with no fixed schedule; fares include tolls for Lantau Link and harbour crossings where applicable.

Citybus E11

Slower but cheaper public bus from the airport toward North Point via Lantau Link, Western Harbour Crossing and Hong Kong Island waterfront, serving Sheung Wan, Central and Wan Chai. Buses typically run every 15–20 minutes during the day; allow extra time in peak traffic compared with A11 or the Airport Express.
